Coach Vikander is one of only two coaches in Utah, at any level (Youth, High School, College or Professional) to be certified by Tom House, PhD. House is considered the "Father of Modern Pitching Mechanics" and was the personal pitching coach of Nolan Ryan, Orel Hershiser and Mark Prior, among others. The results of House’s research and study has led to many breakthroughs on the medical and health fronts, as well as pitching. Coach House has invited Coach Vikander to become part of the National Pitching Association Faculty beginning in September 2011.
