Baseball Gloves

SAM RICE Baseball Glove: - SOLD

Sam Rice is Hall of Famer who played from 1915-1934, primarily with the Washington Senators. With a lifetime .322 BA and 2987 hits, Rice remains a little known figure in the annuls of baseball. In the hobby of glove collecting, the Rice glove remains one of the toughest to find in any condition. Of the three known examples, this glove is without question the superior example. This beautiful G47 glove was made by the long-defunct Draper-Maynard Company during the 1920s. The glove is all original, conservatively graded EX++ condition and D & M label, on the reverse is near mint on this extremely rare buckle-back glove. Simply put this glove becomes the hallmark of any collection.

PRICE: $1,100.00 - SOLD
